Wanted: Entry Level Web Dev + Web Services

Five Technology  is seeking a highly motivated entry-level web developer to join our small team in the western Twin Cities (Delano office location). We welcome recent graduates of a 2 year program.

You’ll have an opportunity to work a great firm putting out top creative, reliable technology and a roster of great clients. We have a proprietary CMS solution with hundreds of clients. Our office environment is very laid back but demands a team player looking to come in, learn, fill numerous needs and not just punch a clock.  We tend to educate and foster growth instead of manage.

The ideal candidate will enjoy solving problems, learning daily, taking on challenges and be able to work both collaboratively and autonomously.  We’re looking for someone that is truly passionate (obsessed is OK) about the web, online communications, Internet marketing, small business, technology and has an intuitive understanding of the concepts of web usability and the “semantic web.”

Required skills:
* HTML/CSS expertise
* Photoshop
* Familiarity with common Javascript frameworks (JQuery, Prototype, etc.)
* Proficiency in PHP
* Understanding of concepts & challenges surrounding web content

Bonus points for the following skills:
* Wordpress experience
* Flash - Actionscript 2-3
* Basic SEO understanding
* Google AdWords & Google Analytics
* XML & RSS

Job tasks will include:
* CSS/HTML
* Website build out
* CMS plug-in creation/integration
* DNS, Web services & troubleshooting
* Client support of all web services
* Email marketing production
* Client relationship building & support
* Learning, adapting, researching 24/7
