AccessArkLa: Custom Classified Ads Website for southern Arkansas and northern Louisiana communities.

Access ArkLa is a classified ads site with a great community following. It is the #1 website for local news, weather, classifieds and streaming High School sports in South Arkansas and North Louisiana. The website is a one-stop shop destination for local information, community outreach, and public service announcements. Due to COVID-19 Access Arkla saw a need for more of a community resource site that offers news, live high school sports streams, community events, and more. So, they reached out to Five Technology to help them build out such a website.

Five started working on a redesigned website that matched Access ArkLa’s needs. We migrated Access ArkLa to a new domain, from eldoark.com to accessarkla.com. Five also converted their website to our user-friendly content management system (CMS) called the HIVE and updated the site's PHP. Additionally, Five help set up Access ArkLa’s ad revenue via Google Adsense and through a custom “local ads” plugin, so their team can resell ads to businesses within their community. Five provided Access ArkLa with an SEO audit to identify areas that needed attention to gain more traffic and resulting ad revenue.  The team at Five Technology will work in an ongoing basis to optimize content and site structure to boost search rankings and overall visibility of the site.
